nanabarr Could you help me with something? I sold a pair of shorts to a woman who says they are to big and would like a refund. I don't mind refunding her money, however, I do not show the money has entered my account. Was wondering if she could just not accept the transaction. That way there would not need to be a refund. Am I making sense?

spikeys_closet @nanabarr hi! Thanks for your question. The buyer would need to enter a problem report and cite that the item wasn’t good for them...then they will get a mailing label to turn back to you because they didn’t accept the item, you won’t get paid. I had this happen once and that is how it took place. Does that make sense?

spikeys_closet @nanabarr I wanted to also mention...a buyer has a certain timeframe to accept or send a report on an item. If they don’t file a report after a few days, you will get paid anyway. Then someone from Poshmark does usually get involved and help navigate how to get the item returned and a refund made.

Ugh... and hope the seller responds. Some plain don't bother and I don't buy the item. I allow enough days ... if they're not that interested, perhaps they are selling junk. Buyer Beware! LuLu

spikeys_closet @dosojosverdes I agree! I insist on people giving me measurements before I purchase. I am sure I drive them nuts with questions. And, like you mentioned, sometimes they don’t answer. I wish there were rules about having to provide them. Would be so helpful and help people not be disappointed when they receive something that doesn’t fit. Good chatting with you!

dosojosverdes @spikeys_closet ... I must tell a factual story that happened 2 me. Wool sweater. I wanted 2 buy. Wool / moths / holes / ouch. I was so (almost afraid of offending) careful of my wording. Here I am walking on eggshells and not infer .... Seller gets mega defensive, goes above and beyond a simple " no there's no holes" answer and reassures me that item is in PRISTINE AND PERFECT CONDITION.

Yes a hole. 😳 🙄 💔 😫 😧 😡....... and another one and on and on and on. I put it over a lamp. Mom helping me see thru felted wool...right ------- a whole bunch of holes 😭😭😭😭😭. Take 📷📸📷📸 ... open a case... blah blah and the seller responds: "Not true. Buyer overstretched the item TOO MUCH where there are no holes IT LOOKS LIKE HOLES".

dosojosverdes @spikeys_closet I won the case and returned this item. He knew fully well what was being sold. Poshmark has eyes too and can see photos. Ever since I do ask a lot of questions... How about the seller who altered garments and HOT GLUE GUNNED THE RAGGEDY HEMS UP? Won that one too..... my husband said: quit buyingggg onlineee. I can't. Hahaha🤪🤪🤪
