donnajgreen When I was in grade school. There was a house next door who one and he was huge. Every day after school I would put my hands in the fence as far as I could. Id grap his big head and give him lots of loving. And most of the time my hands would b covered in gue. LOL

poshmarksla @donnajgreen I actually have a similar childhood memory and I vowed to get one of my own someday b/c of the positive experience. I don't regret that decision. They're a breed that's so full of love! Ours is a relatively tight-lipped Saint (in comparison), so not much drool.

He actually brought Maximus home. He always wanted to have a dog. He had 12 in India when he was 10. So all his family are dog lovers. I have been very lucky ☺️

poshmarksla @paulinakumar Oh you got lucky w/ the dog-friendly family! Pakistani culture also is terrified and disgusted by them for the most part. After years of "training" my husband is now in love w/ them! I joke to people that I "converted" him haha! We started w/ our German Shepherd (or Alsatians as they call them) b/c that's the breed they're most familiar w/ back home...and then I took it up a notch and brought the humongous drool on!

lovefashion13 @poshmarksla just my poor photography lol! I had a Bavarian shepherd who is on my home page but not a good picture. She was the most beautiful dog and the sweetest. She had a triple coat of fur and loved laying in the Michigan snow. She had to take medicine every day but would only do it if you talked super sweet to her for awhile first. A character but aren't they all!

poshmarksla @lovefashion13 Our GSD is SO protective of the kids and our Saint is so snugly and tolerant of them so it's a perfect balance of one doing the watching over and the other snuggling and keeping them busy! My 8yr old daughter hasn't slept in her bed for years, she sleeps on her giant Saint body pillow! 🐶❤️👧🏼
