libraemporium Hi! I looked the bag over very carefully before listing and the handle was not split...can you put pics up so I can see what you mean? It must have happened in transit is all I can think. I promise I inspect everything carefully and would never intentionally leave out any flaws in my descriptions. I'm so sorry that happened
