kitty176 Hi! You recently purchased my Kate Spade patent tote bag. You mentioned there was a minor wear at one of the corner, indicating it wasn’t NWOT. I’m baffled. I purchased this bag through Poshmark as NWOT, and I did not used it once, because it was too small for me. I took it out and never inspect it. It could be already there when I first purchased it. I was supposed to be in a good size space but it fell through (so this location is small so it’s focused on women’s stuff). I sell men’s items from a storage facility.

ericahumeniuk33 Hi Stacy! I have a question for you! I bought a beautiful Burberry bag that’s suede and leather on the outside but it’s pristine- downfall is it smells really musty like a basement. It was stored in its bag and the box and it all smells like that. Do you have any tricks that could help with that? I thought maybe you could help 🙏🙏🙏

poshpeacock13 @ericahumeniuk33 Hi Erica- I’ve had this happen before- first I’d clean exterior with a suede cleaner on side and a leather cleaner on leather. If interior is plaid fabric, I’d use a non alcohol based wipe and dip it lightly in multipurpose cleaner- I use Meyers diluted in water. If wipe down the interior but don’t drench it. When dry, I’d spray a bunch of paper towels lightly with febreze or Lysol and put in the bag- open overnight.

poshpeacock13 @ericahumeniuk33 if that doesn’t work, I’d put it in the fresh air on a sunny day open for an hour or two- sun can kill any mildew/mold smells sometimes. I hope this helps- stacy
