adincher I read your message about leaving Poshmark for mental reasons. Wish there was a way I could message you privately. Similar for me. All I can say is that I just got out of the hospital and I am still not well. Life can be overwhelming. Take care of yourself. Love yourself. I gave myself a long respite from here.

dzoobaby @adincher I have been shopping on Poshmark for about 2 years or so and I’ve been thinking of taking a break for a while. It really can be a toxic environment-just online shopping in general but Posh has a social media type aspect of it too. It seemed like such a cool idea when I first started shopping on here.

dzoobaby We have become such a wasteful society in that we buy cheaply made goods from China and throw it into landfills in a year or two. Most people I have bought from are super nice and some really go the extra mile but every so often you run into “weirdness” I’ll call it. It can really suck you in! I have not even explored selling yet and I’m sure it has its own pitfalls.

dzoobaby Your dog really does have the sweetest face! I have a rescue-all my dogs are rescues-his mother looked like a German Shepherd mix and not sure about his sire. I’m guessing he was a pit mix. He is a sweetheart-he is almost 11 years old so I’m bracing myself for the inevitable but hoping he will have a few more years.

My dogs are my best friends. I have an Australian Shepherd named Kora, she's 11. Elli my German Shepherd will be 10 in Oct, and Bentley, my golden just turned 6.

delicatedesignz @dzoobaby We lost our first German Shepherd, Argos, almost 3 years ago. He was 9 and I'm gutted every day. It's hard that something that brings so much love and happiness to your life, will eventually bring an indescribable brokenness. But it's really made me appreciate every little moment. Argos made me a better person.

dzoobaby @delicatedesignz I know what you mean. We had a rescue lab that was the smartest sweetest dog. His whole litter was dumped in the desert and he was the last pup to be adopted. Poor little guy was full of hookworms so we had to take him to the vet and got rid of them then he started to gain weight and grow and he was always such a good boy! He loved kids, anybody could pet him. I miss that dog every day and he died over 15 years ago. It doesn’t feel like he’s been gone that long!

delicatedesignz @dzoobaby People who aren't dog people don't get it. My dogs 3 year anniversary is coming up and I still cry 5 days a week. But taking care of my other 3 help. And as silly as it sounds, I talk to them about him. Tell them stories or just silly things they'd do together. I can finally say the grief, heartbreak, and pain are worth every second I got to smile and laugh and kiss his fluffy face. We are the lucky ones, ya know? We've experienced a love a lot of people never feel. ❤️🐾
