ashleys_locker3 1 year ago, on Halloween, my 30 year old daughter suffered a pulmonary embolism and passed away 2 weeks later. Ashley worked for the district court in Michigan and had amazing style. I’m still devastated 1 year later but her wardrobe should be shared instead of stored in totes. I think you’ll be thrilled by what I have to offer. Everything is new or worn once. 💕

The next day was Mother’s Day - my dad collapsed at the hospital in Colorado & passed away. If I wasn’t living this nightmare, I’d never believe it!! Bless you 💕

ashleys_locker3 @believer13 it’s been awful. I’ve been having hysterical breakdowns constantly & I will never be truly happy again, my heart has been ripped apart. Poshmark has been keeping me busy and giving me something to do instead of being depressed and bawling constantly. I miss my husband, too, but losing my little girl has completely devastated me 😢

ashleys_locker3 @h225 doing this closet has helped me more than any therapist has. It’s actually given me some joy - something I haven’t had in over a year. I’ll never be truly happy again - life will never be right again, but at least I feel like I’m keeping her memory alive. I’ve had all her clothes packed up for over a year. I really believe Ashley is the one who got my butt in gear and made me do this. It’s been so healing. I’ll make sure and tell my therapist on Wednesday 😌 🤣

It’s something she would of loved to do herself, as she was into fashion. It makes me feel close to my daughter by keeping her memory alive. My heart will be broken forever but at least I’m coping now & accomplishing something rather then laying in bed bawling all day 😢💕💕🙂

I have good days and bad days, but my heart is always half full. That piece missing is her. In time, it does get easier. However, the pain & emptiness never goes away. I’m always here if you need me. Like you, I only started on Poshmark after loss as well. I lost my husband, unexpectedly and then just 9 months later - I lost my mother. I know what devastation feels like. I know I will never be truly happy again. I also lost my dad on Mother’s Day 😔 building this closet in my daughters memory is the best, healing thing I could of ever done for myself. I cry every day , but I’m getting better

I lost my 34-year-old son last March and my father 2 months ago. Each loss felt so different. I’m glad you are finding comfort selling Ashley’s clothes. When I lost my mom at a young age, I donated all her clothing but it took me 8 years to do so. I had a quilt made of the clothing she loved and wore frequently. It's quite a treasure. I’ve pretty much devoted my life to It now!! I know that my daughter must be getting a kick out of this. I’m a hillbilly who knows not about fashion. My daughter was a “beauty before comfort” girl 😂 who loved to shop!! What better way to share her than thru her wardrobe which has been stuffed into totes. She had gone to the dr and Urgent Care for pain in her leg. She told them she thought she had a blood clot in her leg -her grandma passed from a blood clot. The doctors told her she was too young to have a blood clot 💔💔💔💔💔💔😡😡😡 not only is my heart broken, but I’m also really pissed off 😢

I said I don’t know what to say - I don’t smoke, me daughter never smoked & I live in a smoke free home. Maybe my house just stinks, But go ahead & return them. Im sure they just didn’t fit - they were a weird size - 15. So she sends them back but she kept the dough buddy!! Wtf??

(lol my oldest son went “against” us and is a UM fan). 😝 My husband also went there, but transferred after Freshamn year. Up to Northern Michigan to play more football.

ashleys_locker3 @888wen888 heck, yes, Derek goes to most of the MSU home football games💕 I have NEVER seen any one person in my life who goes to more bachelor parties, weddings, Kentucky derby, Mexico, Omg -you name it!! All guys he went to college with are all still good friends. Ten years ago my hubby was remodeling houses for his cousin in New Orleans, and we spent the summer in Orange, TX. That was quite the experience 😳haha

888wen888 @ashleys_locker3 wahoo! I love that... we used to tailgate and go to a lot of games too! He sounds like a riot to be around! Lol about the wedding, and parties etc.. My husband was/is the same way!! they have a group of about 10-12 best friends... lol it was like 8 years of non stop weddings/Bach parties. I’m going to have to google Orange .. I always say I’m just a visitor in Texas. 😂

I’m so thankful I’m not in constant excruciating pain anymore. Now it’s just the groin pull I did while getting off the toilet a few days ago. That still hurts really bad, too ☹️ 🙄it’s been a rough week for this old mare 😂 😬
