Hi, I just got your updated rating. Do you have a model number for the boots you acquired at your local target? Mossimo Supply Company is a huge manufacturer. My product all come from registered wholesalers and distributors including this pair which was a brand new over Stock from Target specifically so unless target is faking their own brands it is not possible for it to be a "fake" but it is possible that you are comparing two different models or versions of a similar product.

@genxmillennial When I do a Google search for the UPC on this tag, the only sites that come up are Blinq.com, Bulq.com, and Ebay. I’m not trying to be difficult, but this doesn’t make me feel great. My preference would be to return these to you for a refund. Is there a way to do that?

@sladesr you have to put in a return request through Poshmark. I am not sure how that works I have never dealt with such a thing before. They are not "fake" in any way shape or form and I have the recipes from the supplier to prove it. They are no longer sold at target they are the exclusive USA seller for Mossimo . They are called Aster boots and if you search for them by name you will get the unavailable product page but you can still see the picture and description.

@sladesr I don't think we can link in comments. BULQ is a national liquidator, and the primary liquidators for Target. I have no issue with taking a return but on Poshmark they have to be the ones to approve it.

@genxmillennial Poshmark says it's too late to do a return. I remain disappointed with the quality. Hard plastic soles provide no traction whatsoever—they're honestly not even safe to walk down the stairs in. Mossimo should be ashamed of selling such a product, but if you say they're real, I won't drag it out.

@sladesr I process a lot of product and a lot of mossimo/Merona and other blue collar brands, I do not recall these being plastic, more of the standard mix poly/rubber which is harder than the rubber you might find on a higher quality designer shoe or even in a sport or work boot. I am gonna guess the others you have may be a utility/combat version of the same upper design, these are fashion boots and fashion boots will have a poly/rubber mix 99% of the time -- I did check...

@sladesr to see if counterfeit blue collar brands were even a thing because I never even heard of that before and it is not a thing. The fake/real question usually only pertains to high end brands like Coach, Prada, and Gucci. I hope that easies your mind in general. I am sorry I cannot help with a return on this platform. You could re-posh them, they have a standard 4.5 star reviews so most people do love them.
