badwitchapparel @sktom001 hello. You can only reduce shipping during a private offer. But you end up paying the difference from your earnings. So the best thing to do is to encourage Poshers to bundle. When they bundle, you can send items in one package and reduce the shipping costs.

badwitchapparel @sktom001 another way to reduce shipping from $6 to $4.99 is decreasing the price by 10%. Poshmark will notify any Poshers that have liked your listing that for the next hour shipping is reduced. You can like your own listings to see this notification.

badwitchapparel @sktom001 they happen 4 times a day and each party has a category. So some items you may not be able to share to the party. Tonight’s last party just started, and every night the last party allows all items to be shared to it. You share your listings to the party by using the share button in the upper right hand corner and the option to share to the current or followers will populate! You’ll want to share all your listings if you can.

badwitchapparel @sktom001 also you’ll want to share other people’s posts and follow other Poshers. They will hopefully follow you back and then share your posts to their followers. So sharing and get shares/followers increases the amount of eyes on your listings which will lead to more sales!

badwitchapparel @sktom001 yeah you should definitely look into becoming a posh ambassador! It takes some time but not too long! You can see under Posh Stats how close your eligibility is.

badwitchapparel @sktom001 I’ve actually only been one for about 2 weeks. It helps gain followers for the most part and if you find you have a knack for selling on this platform it’s worth it. But if you’re doing the occasional closet clean out I wouldn’t worry about it!

sktom001 @sarcfw yeah I’m just trying to do some cleaning, I’ve wondered though how hard it would be to start a boutique. Last question for the day, I noticed some Poshers have a different background picture than their Cover picture when you click on their profile. I was wondering how to change them? Right now it’s just an awkward portion of mine and my sister’s faces haha

sktom001 @sarcfw I just sold my first item but it says that the funds are pending and I can’t redeem them yet. Does the buyer have to confirm the shipment before the payment goes through?

badwitchapparel @sktom001 nope 😊 the buyer has your item and has to accept the item which basically means that they received the item as described in your listing! They typically will rate you and maybe leave a “love note” which is a review. So you’ll typically get your funds within 72 hours of delivery! Usually it’s within 24 hours of delivery

badwitchapparel @sktom001 someone usually bundles items in your closet so that they will be sent in one box so they save on shipping. Make sure they don’t bundle like 10 items because you can’t fit that in one box that is supposed to be no more than 5 lbs

badwitchapparel @sktom001 sometimes people just bundle one item to see if you’ll offer them a lower price instead of them making the first move. But often times when it’s just one item and no other items are bundled, someone tried to like the listing but accidentally bundled it.
