Hello. I am Stephanie, I live in NYC, and Dr. Martens are my hobby, passion, and stress relief. I buy and sell them all the time. I refurbish them them and bring them back out for sale at great prices. I scan the globe for hard to find styles for my own collection. I was a Navy Nurse, then a civilian RN, I ended up with a spinal cord injury from the military and I can’t be a nurse any more.... so I do this! And I love it. ❤️🥰🔥.

maryameee Hi @mrsdrmarten I like your Doc collection. I need your advice. I’m a size 8 but the synthetic Docs in size 8 I got are too big. So I listed them. Then I ordered Jadons in size 7 (=38 which really should be my size… I wear 38 in Zara) and my right big toe is close to the edge 😬 Do leather docs stretch enough for me to just wear them and break them in? Thanks. 👍🏽

mrsdrmarten @maryameee the jadons typically run a little big, so it surprises me that they are snug. But the short answer is yes. A thick sock and some leather softener will do the trick. The synthetic/ vegan docs are compound plastic. They don’t stretch, they actually crack, and have a terrible carbon footprint, no pun intended. The leather are better for the environment. Great purchase
