jenworthy82 @artsycouture I am on the same page. I am still new and learning how to take better pics. I sometimes get in a hurry and then regret the pics I take. I guess we are learning together lol. My dry cleaner was out for 2 days for an emergency and had one of my items that sold. It finally went out and I am so worried that I will get a bad review. I will be adding and editing too.

jenworthy82 Omg. I have been trying to get my daughter to model also. She got her wisdom teeth surgery and works so it’s been hard. She looks way better in the clothes. I do have mixed feelings about how much we have to share our closet to get noticed in the feed. Though I'm not sure there is any other way around it really. Most importantly I think that is why it is important to list as much as possible.

artsycouture42 @forever_ellenlp As far as sharing goes...I think one needs to come up with a plan that works best for them. Yes, shipping cost is high. There are pros and cons to it. I do like priority mail because of the tracking and how it protects both seller and buyer. However, it does -at times -lower sellers profit margins. I guess that is why they encourage people to bundle when buying and to factor that in when pricing your items.

artsycouture42 . I do much better in reselling than I do in Boutique. I have to be honest and say I'm not impressed with a few of the Boutique Lines and feel they should be vetted better. I've been working in the social media marketing industry for years and I do have some ideas that would benefit PM and the sellers. Just not sure how I would go about presenting it to them.

Also, following people daily, community shares, listing regularly and welcoming new Poshers is important. Your prices are not high. Are people offering an even lower price? I would bump up your prices on some of your tops. I have noticed that people are wanting to pay $15 or less for asking price.

artsycouture42 @ashlyn_suchand Hi, Ashlyn! Be sure to always have the brand listed in the title and share your closet as many times a day you can. Also, following people daily, community shares, listing regularly and welcoming new Poshers is important. Do you have a white wall you can use for pictures? I would hang up your tops on a white wall and take pictures that way. Make sure they are wrinkle free. Also, take pictures of the size tag and the fabric tag.

artsycouture42 @ashlyn_suchand Be sure to include a detailed description of each item and the measurements. You can include up to 8 pictures in your listings. I would do that and make sure the backgrounds do not take away from showing the item you are trying to sell. Also, I would increase your prices for wiggle room for people to make offers. Poshmark fees are 20%. Plus, resellers have to pay a sales tax now. Buyers like a discount price on shipping so you need to factor all of these things in your pricing.

artsycouture42 @sunfloweracres Use your Poshmark App on your phone to follow people. Click on your feed and at the top right is a symbol that looks like a person with a plus sign beside that. Click on it and you will see different options to follow people. It’s a great tool. If you click on “new people” It will bring up fresh closets and Just Joined. The just joined is the newbies is where you can welcome people to Poshmark. Hope this helps!

artsycouture42 @bakendrick27 I click on edit and select my picture. For the white backgrounds, I click on adjust and then on White Balance. After you do that, be sure to click the ok symbol on the right upper corner. Then I scroll to the text and select the color text I want and forth. Be sure to save your work. From your photo file, you can transfer your photos to whatever file you use to upload on Poshmark.

Especially your Calvin Klein clothes. Also, be sure to always include the brand first in your title and don’t use emojis in your title. Your items won’t show up when people are searching particular brands. Also, in your description, it is good to include measurements. Same sizes and brands are not all equal in measurements even though they might

Also its good to price higher because you might want to offer discount shipping to your customers. Poshmark is a lot of work but its a lot of fun and rewarding! artsycouture42 @carolynmcgraw That is fantastic! I love painting too and I have recently thought about getting into jewelry making. I am a mixed media artist. I work with fabrics, paint, gel mediums, canvas, paper and you name it! Right now I'm working with slow stitching in a lot of my projects. Creating collages is probably my favorite. Oh and I'm hand stitching a denim rag quilt.
