thisgirlmarlo Hey, New Posher! Hope you've been finding your way around and seeing some good deals! My teenage daughter showed me how to sell on Poshmark. She made cash for college selling clothes she didn't wear. I'm now a Top Seller and Sharer and also a Posh Mentor and Ambassador. I like giving advice and sharing my experience, so are there any questions you have?

sheeney @thisgirlmarlo i know I’m pretty new, but what are my chances of actually selling stuff ? When I joined it automatically had me start following all Of my FB friends, and when I looked, about 90% of them created a profile but had NOTHING listed in their closet. It was discouraging.

thisgirlmarlo @sheeney a lot of people do join just for the shopping. Some people sell what they don't wear and then spend the funds on more clothes! Some make a part time or full time business of it. When Poshmark sends you a follower, follow them back. Resharing your items regularly and other people's items helps get them to share yours. There are also daily theme parties you can share to. Once I started interacting, my sales picked up. I do it mostly for fun and average a few sales a week.

sheeney @thisgirlmarlo i listed a whole bunch of items last night. Saw them all on my wall (my closet) even saw that people shared some of the items... now they are gone. I don’t see them anywhere ! What could have happened ??

thisgirlmarlo @sheeney I can still see them. You may have one of your filters set. At the top left of your closet you'll see a Posh Markets menu button. Make sure you have it on ALL. You can use it to single out different markets (women's mens makeup plus etc) On the top right of your closet is a filter button where you can narrow down sizes etc. Check that too.
