radratna @stephodee hi! You sold a Realisation par dress on here and I know there was a question of authenticity. Can I ask what proof you provided? I want to buy it from the girl because it didn’t fit her well and want to make sure it’s authentic. There’s just so many good fakes out there that it’s really hard to tell sometimes. I hope you understand. Thanks!

stephodee @radratna I provided pictures of the tags. This is an older dress so it doesn’t have the “tm” after the name. I have other older dresses with the exact same tags that I bought from realisation some years back and I have new dresses with the “tm”. Hope this helps!

radratna @stephodee ah super helpful! Thank you so much!!! Do you know based on the dresses you gave do the care tags sometimes have China with a lowercase C? I have the Naomi with the “for real” watermark, the TM, and capitalized C for China.

radratna But I have the Alexandra dress and it has no TM and a lowercase C, and no “for real” watermark. It just makes me wonder if that one is a fake or just an old version because the Alexandra feels more like a light crepe silk than the Naomi which feels like a good heavy silk.

stephodee @radratna The old pieces I have do have the lower case “c” and my newer ones have the upper case. The new ones will also have the “for real” in the material, not the old ones. I notice the knockoffs don’t have the inner Realisation tag. Or they are missing both tags, or have a different brand. I will also say that if you are worried about buying it second hand due to fakes, Realisation will have a sale once in awhile and last time it was like 20-25% off. :)
