jzrose4 Hi Susan, Let me know if you get this. I’m answering your questions about the suede coat. Coat is definitely purple. The lighter color was of the lining. Coat does not close, sorry, I should have put that in description. It does have shoulder pads. There is a stiffness to the suede though; probably because it is decades old. I believe I got it in 80 or 81. Measurements from shoulder to shoulder as coat is hanging naturally is 21 inches, arm pit to arm pit is 28.
