snyflot Hi Susan, I I’ve in a smoke free home with my husband and yes, one cat. I can guarantee however that my cat has never been near this bag. I purchased this about 6 mos. ago on EBay for$135. I quickly realized it was too big for me after putting my stuff in it and put it in a bag up in my closed closet. She has not ever been near the purse. Not once. Of course I didn’t think this purchase thru since I use a smaller purse now since I no longer work. It is totally up to you. Thanks, Sandy❤️

I have enclosed a picture with it circled. It's very tiny and like I said it faces the back of the purse. Other than that I think it's in great shape.
