orangeblossoms Hi. I sold you The loeffler purse you paid $8 for. The straps were in great condition. Maybe you didn’t have the long strap strapped correctly. I normally only used the small strap as I don’t like cross body purses I checked the purse out before selling and all straps were definitely in tack and not falling apart. You need to make sure that the longer strap is buttoned correctly.

suprdynamo @orangeblossoms Hi there! I used the long strap & it appears as though the holes that the little grommets go thru were too loose to hold it together. It fell right off my shoulder & into the street while I was walking . Of course , that’s the kinda thing that could only happen to me. Lol!

suprdynamo @orangeblossoms Thank you. I mean everything else with the purse was ok. I’m just afraid to carry it again? Or maybe , like you said, trying the shorter strap ?

orangeblossoms @suprdynamo if you really like the purse this is what I would do. Take it to a shoe/purse repair. Have them condition the purse with a leather cleaner and add a couple of stitches to the strap near the grommets. Or stitch that strap together completely in a spot so won’t come apart. I paid 395 for the purse at Nordstrom’s. It’s one of my favorites I’ve ever had.

suprdynamo @orangeblossoms I really do like the purse! Thank you that’s a great idea!! I wouldn’t have thought of having it sewed! I know Loefler Randall is expensive! But I seem to like a lot of their styles with both purses & shoes. I appreciate the great idea to fix!
