lizzysvintage Hi Susan! Thank you so much for shopping my Closet and buying the Spiegel pants. I’ve been looking closer at items before I pack them and noticed some relatively faint spots on the inner left leg toward the bottom - probably splash marks. They might come out with treatment-I think I always took them to the cleaners in lieu of the washing machine. Despite the flaws, I hope you like them - I’ve always loved the soft feel of the material. Happy Poshing and thank you, again🌺🥰🌸!

denimandiamonds Hi Susan! It’s Bonnie from @Denimandiamonds. I was difficult to photograph the hallmark on the back of the silver butter pats. It says Sterling, then underneath is the letter “A” in an ornate circle, with two different marks on either side. Under that is the number 1686. . They belonged to my husband’s grandmother. We were married in 1969. She passed away a year later at about 92. I would place them at being made somewhere between 1890 and 1910... give or take a few years
