jaun761 Hey Susan. I am sorry that you weren't completely satisfied with your shoes. I haven't worn them in a very long time , I did polish them myself, however I didn't notice that they were lifting. Then if you wear them you will see that they will create folds and wrinkles very easy, the leather is very hard and thus folds very easy. I am more than willing to let you return it and I will even pay the shipping. I can mail you a check back if you feel that you don't want them.

jaun761 I have never sold second hand clothing, so I am glad that you let me know about the separation, now I can pay better attention when I inspect the items. I wouldn't want you to be unsatisfied with your shoes or my service. Wish you had contacted me earlier. We can do anything you want to do. I want you happy.

becauseimfancy @jaun761 Hi. I'm sorry for the late response. First I was out of town when the shoes arrived, and didn't get back until two days ago. So I could not post anything until I got a chance to see them. I have not been feeling well since I got back so all I've been doing is working and resting. Today is the first time I have the energy to write anything. I know it sounds lame, but its true 😓 I'll post again with more in a minute.

becauseimfancy @jaun761 2nd post Sat Aug. 10 I want to thank you for being so considerate and mindful in your concern for customer satisfaction. My feeling is that it may not be worth it to send the shoes back to you, I honestly don't think they are sellable, I was going to just throw them out. Mind you, I rarely throw stuff away. I can take pictures so you can see what I'm seeing. (See next post)

becauseimfancy @jaun761 3rd post Aug. 10 I didn't notice the extent of the wear until I wore the shoes outside. In the daylight I saw that they had a great deal of wear. The "leather" is cracking and peeling in many places on both shoes. One is starting to on the inside too. The soles are in good shape except that one is coming apart from the bottom. I love the style and shape and have been looking for these for a while. I'm sorry, it's just the condition... (See next post)

becauseimfancy @jaun761 post 4(?) LOL... It wont take more than 500 characters! So, bottom line is, I was planning on taking a loss, and tossing the shoes. I will leave it up to you. If you want to refund me and have me send you back the shoes I will do that. I'm sorry. I think you have the qualities of a really good seller. It just takes time to know what's sellable and what's too old.

jaun761 had the same experience buying a $65 bag this week, only I won't get my money back. I completely understand that money doesn't come free, and we all want to only have good experiences on Poshmark. Its very important to me as a person that I refund your money.

jaun761 Everything in my store is really good quality, I wouldn't charge for something I feel is not good at all. I honestly didn't see it was pulling apart, that fact that is was used , yes it was, and I don't mind that you don't want yo wear something that used , please let me make it up to you.

becauseimfancy @jaun761 At least 75 -85% of the clothes and shoes I own and wear are from Thrift Stores, and have been ever since I was old enough to buy my own clothes (actually at since I was a very little girl) I have no problem what so ever wearing used clothing and often prefer it because I can get such a unique variety of garments and shoes that you don't see in regular stores. I was not in any way trying to discredit you or your store. You stated that you have not sold used clothing for long.

becauseimfancy @jaun761 I had a hard time writing that the shoes were not in good shape. I contemplated making something up to post and throwing the shoes away. However, I decided that to let you know about the cracking and pulling away of the bottom flap, because this was not stated in the original post. Since I couldn't see the actual extent of the wear until I got them in bright daylight I thought you may not have noticed either...

becauseimfancy @jaun761 Even shoes I buy at Goodwill, and many other thirft shops are not as worn. There is definitely more wear than the posted photos showed. I thought you would want to know, so you could photograph and describe the wear and condition of your items more specifically in the future. By all means not to hurt or discredit you.

Again I think your care for your customers satisfaction and willingness to do what it takes to make sure they are is amazing and such a breath of fresh air in the world of resale. I may be new to online retail, but by no means am I new to used retail.

jaun761 @becauseimfancy Its all good if you want to see how to do the refund through Poshmark. If there is an option I will gladly refund your payment, with shipping and taxes. We should have probably done it before you accepted, I looked at the account to see if I see a way to do a refund, but I don't see anything, let me know what you come up with. I don't think I will feel comfortable without refunding you.

jaun761 Please if you don't find a way on Poshmark, let me send a check, for full amount of item price, taxes, and shipping. I only have the amount you paid for the shoes on file, no extras so I am not sure home much that all was. It's really bugging me that you weren't satisfied with your purchase.

jaun761 No I have never sold secondhand garments , I only started about 3 weeks ago, I have only been in a Thrift store once, I did however buy from two stores where I came from (South Africa), one was very high class vintage jewelry and the most beautiful dresses - I was never much into buying shoes, I am a very fussy shoe person. Then the other store had genuine 60's and 70 items. :)
