annacastelli Hi Susan. I am so sorry that you are not happy with your purchase. 🙁. I am surprised that you found the smell really strong. I don’t wear perfume and I washed the tanks with Biovert detergent(slightly scented) which is not strong at all. Just a suggestion, you can soak the tanks in water adding dish soap and 1/2 a cup of baking soda. This should remove the smell. Have a nice day. 😊

scachay @annacastelli Thanks. I’ve washed them in baking soda and vinegar. I know it’s weird, maybe that material just hangs on to scents. I love the tops though, they fit perfectly, I’ve hung them outside and I’m going to see if leaving them in the fresh air for a while will reduce it. Most of the stuff I’ve bought on here I haven’t noticed that with. Just three items I think and perhaps it’s the type of cotton material that grabs it I don’t know. Great tops though.

scachay @wrightracing I think it’s one other purchase I had this issue with and I think it’s the cotton material that grabs the scent. I’ve hung it outside to see if that helps. The cost to ship back wouldn’t be worth it but thank you. Love the top though!!
