the tracking label did not match the address and name it is in my neighbors mailbox. But they are not home and it has their address and a made up name I contacted the post office. They are investigating The post office can't believe this they got the picture of the label and it is not my address or my name but the tracking number is my address and it says its delivered

@dunnsusanann How has posh been with the situation? Did they refund you? I’m so sorry this happened to you by the way. I’m still trying to understand how the heck this even happens.
I can’t confirm that this is exactly what’s happened to me because the package hasn’t been “delivered” to me yet.
But I know it’s a scam. Didn’t realize it until after I sent an offer to purchase. Just wanting to know how to handle it if it does happen.

@susysuze I called the United States Postal Service and they said the tracking showed it was delivered to my house but then they Retrieved a picture of the label and it had my neighbors address with a fake name on it all three of my packages are there and my neighbors not home so I can’t get them out and the mailman said he delivered three packages that were scanned for 131 but the label is 141 and that is the address i I keep sending email to Poshmark

@susysuze Call the post office give them the tracking number asking to retrieve a picture of the label and the label with the address They’re doing an investigation because I don’t see how that could happen

@susysuze you know what I suggest you do so it won’t get delivered somewhere else. Contact USPS and have them hold your package at the post office so that you can pick it yourself.

@kikipaw I found the mailbox it was delivered to and took pictures of the package- my neighbor is not home so i cant get the packages and the names are other seller one is laura Casella and it is not the seller i brought from and they are in SC not even the same area as the seller

@kikipaw Thanks for the suggestion. I’m going to call my post office tomorrow and see what they can do. I’ll try to at least give them the heads up. I wonder if these scammers are photo shopping/altering the labels. I had heard about scammers sending masks and hoping buyers don’t check their mailboxes until the 3 day period, but hokey crap, this takes the cake.

I’ve just contacted them and mentioned you and your situation, I took a SS of the convo here to attach to the email to Posh (I hope that’s okay) and hope they see that and help you as well.

@susysuze did the tracking say delivered ask the post office to pull up the picture of the shipping label and it should match the tracking if not then there is a problem. call and file a claim with the post office

@dunnsusanann I recommend you keep emailing them. Send them the pic of the label that USPS gave you, and the pics of the junk items that were in the package(s).
Also, I recommend going in their IG and commenting on their posts, and send them DMs until they answer you.

@dunnsusanann hey so my package “delivered at/in mailbox” yesterday but wasn’t there, I signed up for the texts from USPS, so that’s how I was alerted. My carrier was still there so I spoke with her about my concern and she took down the tracking # and called her supervisor and her supervisor said the last 4 digits were off.

So I go back home and then I get an email from Poshmark stating that an attempted delivery was made but I never received a card at my door or in my mailbox that such attempt was made. Mind you, I was home all day except for those 10 minutes I stepped out to go to my mailbox.

I contact Posh and all they said was to “look around my house, ask neighbors and talk to my carrier for my package” and it still doesn’t come up, I have to wait until August 14th to contact them again to go from there 🙄
Grrrrreat, so I have to wait longer but the scam seller will get the money within the next two days....just great.
