Hi! I'm Susan I hope you enjoy browsing my quickly growing closet ~ it's filling up with new with tag items (so easily giftable to others 💝 👍 😜), as well as like new name-brand quality items. I I list & sell for myself, as well as several others, so there's usually a nice variety in styles & sizes. My pricing is based off of that extra cut to others I list for, on top of the 20% Poshmark takes, & Uncle Sam’s cut. I also offer an additional discount on bundles. We live off grid in the mts of CO, so I have the extra expense & time to ship, as it's an hour & 15 min round trip drive to the post office. I do my best to work with you, especially when items are bundled, but I do have to consider everything mentioned above. Don't hesitate to make a reasonable offer though. I try to add an item (or more) per day, so check often to snag new items before someone else does; also check back to see what new things have been added just waiting to be discovered. I offer current styles, from casual to work place, to formal. I also have some unique vintage offerings. Great customer service and shipping on weekdays are priority to me (despite the rearranging of our schedules to make the drive to the tiny mt town post office with limited hours). I do my best to ship next or same day unless I have other commitments or the weather's bad! I appreciate you stopping by! 2redbows Hello Susan. Welcome to Poshmark. 1. Get a scale. I try to sell items that are 3- 3 1/2 pounds. This would give an allowance for cushioning and box weight. Imagine your package being tossed around and what kind of buffering it needs. 2. I sometimes bubble wrap an item, box it, then put in another box with newspaper. Make sure nothing moves around. 3. Sign up for an account with USPS. You can order free priority mail boxes, Tyvek mailers (for clothing), and padded mailers for free.

Unfortunately we live off grid in the mts of CO, so it takes me an hr and fifteen round trip to the post office. They have limited hours, so that's an extra challenge, but I do try to replenish shipping supplies when I do go

bestfrugal Wow! Share your entire closet 3 times a day!? My apologies to add another question now, but do you just go through & hit 'share' one after the other when you share it, or does that just clump them all together? I try to hit 'share' from 1 item to the next a little bit spaced out currently, so it takes a while. I don't have anywhere near the inventory of most established Poshers, so I can't imagine. Again, great tips and I mush appreciate your time!

2redbows @bestfrugal Hello. The best tool to use for sharing is a smartphone. it takes longer from a laptop. Regarding the USPS free packaging, I was suggesting you sign up for an account with USPS.com to order free boxes, Tyvek mailers and padded envelopes. They I'll ship them to your address. Just be careful to get the free priority mail boxes.

bestfrugal @2redbows good to know about the difference between sharing from a computer vs a smart phone ~ much appreciated as I did not know. Another question ~ so even those with closets with 1000's of listings often share each item each day, even several times? Do you just hop on & share one right after the other? I usually try to space mine apart as I don't know how it goes on

2redbows @bestfrugal You can share one right after the other. It takes me about 4-5 minutes to share my whole closet. The number of listings shown is not the same as active listings. Some people have help from family or hire people to share their closet.

Sales have been slow for me too, people seem to be spending time and money on other things such as vacations and time with family. It is the summer so that's what you're supposed to do! Co Springs gets hot too ~ really any place below 9k, and even then sometimes as the sun @our elevation is intense! Good point, I'm a new Posher so this slow season is new to me, I hope it picks back up before fall. It's good people are spending their $$$ on things that matter most. I appreciate the shares, I'll share more of yours. Perhaps we'll both get a bit more exposure & a sell or two!

I've been working from 6:30am to 9:00 pm for the past few days and it'd been difficult! They're not a common thing so I have to do most of the marketing and getting the words out about them. Do you add / select the 'Handmade' tag option on your listings for them? Many people have an appreciation for handmade items. If you edit your profile name and add an exclamation point at the very beginning and a space before your name, when people press on followers your name will be one of the first to pop up so people will be more likely to follow you. You can see my name on my closet as an example👍

brac3f0rimp4ct @bestfrugal They didn't work either. if I have a product, such as a crystal necklace, I'll type in crystal jewelry into the "shop" part of poshmark. I'll find someone with a product that has gotten a lot of likes and follow all of those people. If you want to take it further, share some of their items too. These people already like the type of product you have to offer so it increases the chance they'll buy from you

judysa Hi Susan, I have been Poshing for couple years (this month, I think) and I also work full time. This started out being my "on-line garage sale" to scale down all of my belongings. I've certainly bought WAY TO MUCH over the years. I am also still learning believe it or not. I wanted to send someone a bundle the other day and couldn't figure it out (lol)! Either way, Posh when you have time and keep it stress free or you will burn out. I love your "Meet the Posher" description and pictures.

bestfrugal @racegal I just noticed your comment ~ taking a break from selling on Posh. Essentially our 'off grid' is just a location / large remote area in the mountains that has no corporate power or water supply for the entire area. The area is vast with many 'off grid' residents scattered about. Hope that makes more sense. We spend time in FL ~ have been doing so for the past 30+ yrs. We love NC as well! Beaches & mountains are our vibe!

bestfrugal @judysa I appreciate you stopping by to leave a note & encourage me. I'm def burnt out, especially w/other distractions & time limits during the busy holiday season. With the current Posh set up (live shows, low ballers, etc), it seems like much too work for the profit I end up with after expenses ~about an 1 1/2 round trip spend to/from our nearest small mt town post office, Posh's 20%, & Uncle Sam gets his %.
