prettygals @suziescornerclo There is a wealth of information on starting a Poshmark closet on YouTube. A few quick tips to get started are: photograph items in a well lit area - be sure to include all angles of your items - providing measurements is most helpful for buyers - If an item has a flaw be sure to show photos of it & mention it in your description-

prettygals @suziescornerclo If you plan on selling a lot of items it’s best to create an inventory system sooner rather than later. It’s most helpful to use clear bags to store each item in. This way things don’t get unfolded & wrinkled. I use storage containers to put all my packaged items in. They are labeled from A-Z. Be sure to include container letter on each listing so you’ll know where the items are when they sell.

nancyp2222 @suziescornerclo 🍁I'm sure I only do a fraction of what is recommended here on PM🍁. Id love a Poshmark for dummies book also LOL. I surprised there is not one already. I viewed all the tips recommended given to you so far. All great suggestions. I share to all parties and a few times a day to my followers. (I have not get used an auto share program but getting close) Keep building up your followers. Share all those who share your closet.

nancyp2222 @suziescornerclo Take great pics (the one item your selling is a perfect pic). Give detailed descriptions pointing out any flaws. Always give measurements. I'm still only selling my and my family's items not sure about how to build an inventory yet. Also, what I feel is most important, be kind and courteous to other bc you never know what stuff others are going thru on a given day. 🍁Good Luck You Seem To Have Made A Great First Step With Your Closet🍁

suziescornerclo @nancyp2222 I know it's been a while to reply but I just found this page. Beginner you might be thinking, you are correct does it show. I also have been setting up an inventory system, you would be surprised how much space boxes take up. I am currently converting my upstairs to catered to my business. I could foresee the kind of problems that could arise...if you are not organize.

nancyp2222 @suziescornerclo I'm still figuring this all out but may I also suggest you start building up your followers & start sharing others closet; sharing to all parties. I also share my own closet to my followers 3X a day. That way your closet will get more views & show up closer to top on buyers doing a search for your items.
