No warning. He had been sweating a lot but he always sweats. I feel as a nurse I should have picked up something but when he came home at night I was asleep. So the night I found him gasping for air when I got up to use the BR I rushed him to the ER. My life changed that night. Now he has something on his lung. He has to be alright. He’s everything to me

Hi sweetie, my husband went for a procedure to place a pacemaker and defibrillator and you won’t believe it. The dr had to abort procedure because he accidentally tore his aortic valve. Now he faces more problems and open heart. I’m like what is God trying to tell us. I’m lost

Omg, no, it’s not been good and today my husband went for cat scan of his heart and I got the report b4 it went out to dr. Shows 3 lung masses consistent with metastatic cancer. I was reading it out loud in the car and turned white. I made like I coughed bcuz I didn’t want to read it to my husband. I broke down crying and when he asked what was wrong I lied. I cannot believe this. What is God doing

They were doing it bcuz in March he went into the hospital for a pacemaker/defibrillator implant but the dr who is top in his field had to abort the procedure bcuz he accidentally cut Sam’s aortic valve. Never apologized and denied my request for a cardiac thoracic surgical consult and discharged him home from CCU without even remembering to give him the prescriptions he needed. @sebq It’s lawyer time! Oh doctors!! You were a nurse, you know! I talked to my husband he is so much wiser than i am on Spiritual matters. The only way He would have let that happen is to make sure those masses were seen so that they could be dealt with right away! And possibly could help pay some medical expenses? Remember, God is good, all the time, and all the time, God is good. He would never give your husband this stuff! Jesus said - love God, and love your neighbor, it’s All about love.

I spoke with a dr I used to be his assistant. He’s head of Oncology at Mt Sanai and he said it doesn’t look like cancer to him and bcuz of Sam’s heart they may refuse a bronchoscope bcuz of his heart which would be to get a lung sample.

He also said that “IF” it is cancer he is untreatable and will die so focus on his heart. But he said from he sees the tests are not definitive enough so back to square one. I wan t a definitive test and if his heart prevents the bronchoscope then I just don’t know

A friend of mine got a mass on his lung, the docs said it didn’t look good - and we all thought it was CA for sure because he’d been a smoker for 40 some years -non-filtered cigarettes too! - and had in general led a wild life.

Yes my love, I will. Took my husband to transplant dr today and told him he had been having pain in his arm where defibrillator placed so I asked for ultrasound. Just got back from hospital bcuz we had to go back and he has a blood clot but in meds now. Tomorrow I’m going to look thru your closet to add. 💞

He’s holding strong. He’s officially on the transplant list but his donor will need to be at least 6’ 8” bcuz of his size plus blood and tissue must match. That lowers his options. Very scary. It’s in God’s hands now So nice of you to ask. Thank you!

Yes, if you are smaller your options are much greater of finding a donor but when you are as big as Sam the chest cavity can only take an equally large donor. I truly believe God had me become a nurse mainly for my Sam. With all the tests, meds, and so many things being done I think a non medical person would find it much harder. It certainly helps that I am able to understand all the lingo!😊💞🙏

@sebq It’s a town called Hemet, rural-ish, and I’m east of town, heading towards the foothills of the mountains that are west of Palm Springs. But only like 1500 feet so that’s not a big change... but all of us are feeling it. The air is so pure and clear!

My husband got his ❤️ transplant 1/2/2020. They made him live in the hospital bcuz his heart was failing and said he stays until he is transplanted. Praise God! He’s doing great and probably coming home next week. Thank you for always asking about my Sam

Hi stranger....Yes, Sam got his heart on January 2, 2020. His labs suddenly took a nose dive and they admitted him and said he would have to live in the hospital until a donor was found. He wasn’t doing well and went in in December 6 and was there almost 2 months. Very scary but so far so good. 🙏
