They were not sent to you on a torn off piece of cardboard, it was an index card folded in half with holes punched in it to add extra protection to the earrings. Then wrapped in tissue paper, then wrapped in bubble wrap then put in a box. If you want a jewelry box go to a store. They are absolutely vintage earrings, I didn’t “style” them vintage, I just photographed them.
