candis_c @pepper143 they deleted our convo. But how you can tell it’s fake or not, simply look at the plug. All hair dryers usually have the test and reset button in it. You can also contact Dyson and give them the serial and they can tell you if it’s legit or not. If you have any issues, don’t accept the item. Contact PM immediately.

candis_c @pepper143 They probably reported the conversation as harassment. It doesn't matter, what I do now is report on the site and then take a screenshot, and send it to poshmark at support at poshmark dot com. a lot of the ones I reported that way, have been taken down.

pepper143 @candis_c thank you for the heads up It was a scam. And I got Poshmark to release the money back to me. I also know a good clue is every time I look at someone’s name with 141 followers, that pretty much tells me it’s a scam. When that’s the only thing they’re selling.

candis_c @pepper143 yes girl!! A lot of red flags in those listings. 1. Look at the plug. If it doesn’t have a distributor on it, it’s not authentic. 2. If you find an ad and a second ad with the same description. 3. Seller is only selling that one item. 4. Seller never responds to questions. Dead giveaways

pepper143 @candis_c the plug is the first give away Because Dyson uses a big gray circuit breaker for a plug. Plus if I had received it once I started it up I probably would’ve noticed a difference. I used to have one and then turned it in for the redline for 1/10 the price. Lol
