@tuddlepuff hi. I received my first purchase the other day and I requested a return because I believe the item has significantly shrunk from the original size. It was denied.

I specifically ordered something that was supposed to be the exact size and style and color as other pairs of jeans that I have in order to be sure that they would fit. I understand that you can’t take returns because they just don’t fit - but how is having something sold at a given size that is not actually that size anymore work into this policy?

As a general rule, it's a good idea to request measurements from the seller because sizes differ from one manufacturer to another and sometimes from one cut or style from a single manufacturer.
I'm the same as you - I buy and sell on Poshmark but I don't actually work for them. Posh Ambassador means I met certain criteria and accepted additional responsibilities as a volunteer - mostly to welcome and help new users navigate this environment.
