sylvsies @shannahh Once my grandma got me a fake pair for Christmas and we didn't know until I opened them Christmas morning and was so dissapointed. Unless you've been fooled before, it's so hard to tell. Hate people who try to take advantage of others ESPECIALLY during the holiday season! It touches me on a personal level lol

shannahh @sylvsies Most people really cannot tell the difference! They also don’t know what to look for to determine authenticity, and will often just take the seller’s word that something is legit when it totally is NOT. It’s pretty aggravating to see people get scammed like that! Especially when I see parents or grandparents buying boots for their kids/grandkids as presents and getting taken advantage of 😡

sylvsies @susanpaige5 Hi! Would it be possible to stick the box in a garbage bag and stick the shipping label on it? I've done that to a few boxes and it doesn't look pretty but it preserves the box! Please let me know your thoughts :)

poshpeeks @sylvsies Oh, I was told if shipping label is priority, it has to be shipped in the priority boxes. 🧐 I could put a plastic garbage bag around it and tape it up. Are you sure Postal Service will take it?

I removed them from my store.. these we're gifted to my daughter for her birthday this October and the whole time we thought they were real!! Can you please let me know how we can tell the authenticity of the boots so we know what to look for in the future?? Thank you so much!!

sylvsies @deysimayorga04 of course! It's hard to tell unless you've seen a lot of them first off, the color is more orangey than the real ones. If you feel the fur it's much more faux than sheepskin. A dead giveaway is the shine on the fur. The last thing is the inside tag, Ugg has started to put holographic tags on the inside to indicate authenticity. Oh one last thing, if the soles are not very flexible that's a dead giveaway too (hard to tell from pics).

They are super super worn and the inside sole is no longer fluffy :( but with a good dry cleaning and new insoles I’m sure they would be perfect!
