I want to make sure it is clear that the skirt you purchased is very dark Navy. However, it may come off as black. But, when I put next to my black items, it is just a little off. It could pass for black however. I work at Chicos's and we do have a very dark navy. We often have it in the Traveler's line and it is called Midnight.
