terpsichore123 @ohseedeez yes, I am a gem fanatic! The green gems are some of my favorites...Chrome Diopside, Prasiolite, Demantoid Garnet, Emerald, the green Tourmalines and, of course, Tsavorite Garnet.

terpsichore123 @ohseedeez Yes, you might have bought it here at the Gem Show? That is how I got into gems. Nothing like having the biggest Gem and Mineral show in the world in your back yard to light a fire in you for gems.

ohseedeez @terpsichore123 I bought that piece from a jeweler in Scottsdale (it was on sale lol) about 6 years ago but only wore it a couple of times and it is too pretty to sit in a dark box. Extra happy because you're a green gem girl. I was an exhibitor in the AGTA show for about 5 years and had my mind blown so many times! The boss wouldn't let me drive because I couldn't drive two blocks without pulling into a pop-up corner village. What is it with all the sushi joints in the middle of the desert?

ohseedeez @terpsichore123 the retail markup on pearls really pisses me off when you're used to seeing ropes piled high on every other table. You're lucky to live in the most important international gem trade hub.

ohseedeez @terpsichore123 The photos of sapphire ring are on a growing quartz specimen. A friend has the gift-crystals are alive and grow around her. Her "Mother Crystal" (my nickname) has almost doubled in size after she rescued it from a tweaker house. The mineral specimen people are a very group.

terpsichore123 @ohseedeez Lol, we take our food seriously here! Tucson was the first city in USA to be designated a UNESCO City Of Gastronomy. Not really due to Sushi restaurants...lol...but we do love our food choices! I love having the Gem Show here, but I do spend a lot of time seeing the exhibits. Have yet to see every show and I live here! I think I am going to love the bracelet!
