I work for the Baptist Health System in Surgical Services.
I have been doing this for 13 years.
For about a month and a half,when a stop was put to elective surgery,I was out of work.
but,Thank goodness, we are very busy now.

@tlsaldan That’s quite a long time & I can imagine that had to be difficult for you too. 🙏🏻 🌸 😷 Appreciate all you do too! Question, no obligation to answer...Thoughts on Gastric surgery? It’s been suggested by a dr or two. I’m so afraid of repercussions as several friends had lots of issues. Plus, I feel like I can do it myself. It would be the lap band...

we do bariatric surgery here every Thursday.
I have seen it be beneficial for alot of our patients.
I would suggest you research your Doctor not just the surgery itself. The Surgeon has Lot to do with how successful you will be at maintaining your weight goals after word.
