traderven @jgulan Yes! I totally get it. I normally wear a size 12. This probably fits somewhere between a 10 and a 12. I don’t know why I never really wore it. I think it was just the color was not flattering on me. But it’s adorable! I’ve had it for a long time and I just decided to let it go. I will go try to get you some measurements now… Hold on…

jgulan @traderven thank you that is so helpful! Okay- great thank you! Is the elastic still stretchy? Given that you’ve had it for a while? I definitely have a bottom! Usually a size 8 on top and a size 10 on bottom for bathing suits

traderven @jgulan Actually… maybe it’s because I’ve gained a few pounds during this whole quarantine… I don’t know, but this definitely is smaller than a size 12 I believe. Probably more like a 10. And the skirt is a medium but it’s almost like a small. I think sizes have changed over the years. Anyway here are some measurements: the skirt from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hen is 11 inches. The waistband from side seam to side seam, stretching it out a little, measures 15 inches.

traderven @jgulan The bathing suit from the top of the chest to the crotch is about 24 inches. Measuring across the front of the chest from armpit to armpit is about 16 inches. The narrowest part of the crotch is 3 inches. The side seam from the armpit to the bottom of the panty is about 14 1/2 inches. Does this help at all? Keep in mind it’s hard to measure bathing suits accurately because there’s so much stretch in it. I hope this helps you. Let me know if you have any other questions.

traderven @jgulan I think this would be perfect for a size 8/10. But measure your other bathing suits and take your time. If you decide it doesn’t work for you, that’s fine. And yes, the elastic is still stretchy. The wide elastic waist band on the skirt is very tight. Not a lot of give to it. But stretchy and elastic-y.

jgulan @traderven okay so I’ve read through you notes and I’m wondering about the waist of the skirt. You mentioned it’s more like a small and with it stretched out a bit it is 15. If just laying flat not stretched what is the measurement? My dilemma is: the skirt is definitely shorter than I’d like. So I would be wearing more on the hips but if it’s tight it will slide up to my waist as I walk. Lol

traderven @jgulan @jgulan I understand. If I don’t stretch it at all the waistband measures just under 14 1/2 inches. It’s a wide waistband with tight elastic. You are right. It is definitely shorter than what I would want also. But it still offers more coverage than just a bathing suit alone. If you get it and you don’t like it, Poshmark now offers an easy way to resell it on Poshmark! It really is adorable! I wish it fit me better!
