bookcat_beth @teratara Sorry, just woke up after rough couple of days and finally getting some sleep. I've been there, not knowing how to get started, so don't feel bad. Are you looking to primarily sell gently used items or set up a boutique? I'm happy to answer any questions.

bookcat_beth @teratara One thing I did the week before I started selling, was spend most of a weekend working to build up my followers. Depending on what you plan to sell, you can take two paths with this, or a combination of the two. 1st is general PM method of following & sharing anybody you can so that they'll follow you back. bookcat_beth @teratara 2nd is more targeted, searching for Poshers who "like" items you plan to sell, & then following & sharing them so that they'll follow you. Examples: if you plan to sell a lot of size 10 shoes, search for size 10 shoes & then add Poshers who've liked shoes in that size. You can also do by brand, search for Chanel or Tory Burch brand items, then follow & share "likers" of those items. I started out with 1st and then went to 2nd.

bookcat_beth @teratara Either way, if you concentrate on it, you can add a lot of followers quickly. I added 10,000 in a weekend but that was just hitting follow & share buttons with a lot of "back" buttons mixed in. I did most of it on my phone, but if you can use a PC or laptop it will go faster because you can share items without having to constantly reload the whole screen.

teratara @bookcat_beth so I’m thinking of selling items I’ve used only once. Specifically bridesmaid dresses to begin with. I have 3 in the same design (viera wang) barely altered and I have another long grey bridesmaid dress also. I was thinking to get started selling those. Should I follow those who prefer the brand names since it’ll be easiest to name the product after its designer?
