Hi! I'm Tara. I am working on my closet slowly and letting go of some of my favorite pieces. (Which i have never done before) I ❤️ FASHION, but moving from Miami to Charlotte has been a BIG change of pace. dani102373 Hi…I just received my shoes along with another pair of CL boots I also bought on Poshmark. One of the pairs is definitely fake and I’m trying to figure out which one. Where did you purchase your shoes from originally? Thanks.

tarakim @dani102373 years ago, I do not remember the exact year but that is why i listed them. I have many pairs of CL shoes and these I hadn’t worn in probably 6 years bc i have a HUGE shoe collection. I also bought the same pair in white! This is very upsetting when you don’t know the brand , take them to CL or Neimans and ask them! They are 1000% REAL

dani102373 @tarakim I am so very sorry that I upset you, but I do understand why you are. Please try and understand how I felt thinking I bought fakes. I was going by photos online and comparing them to real vs. fake. The two main reasons I felt they might be fake is because the letters of inside stamp aren’t all crisp, clear and legible as they should be. The bottom is also not engraved according to the information I found…

dani102373 …It’s not that I don’t love the shoes, but I am concerned about their authenticity. It would help if you could give me an estimate as to the year you bought them. I am going to Nordstroms and Saks tomorrow and am more than happy to bring them with me to ask as long as you can tell me the approximate year you purchased them. Do you think it was 5, 10, 15, or 20, etc. years ago?

tarakim @dani102373 I understand your concern, however I am upset bc I bought all my shoes myself from the department stores! You name the designer I have shoes from them! I had a very bad habit years ago! And my boots & peep toes I got direct from CL store. Those CL may have been pre 2010 bc I have found email receipts from my other CL I bought in 2013 and 2014. I am in no way concerned about these not being authentic bc they are!

dani102373 @tarakim honestly, your passion about them being real is enough for me to believe you. I sincerely love the shoes. I think the fact that they are over 15 years old, which I know based on the bottom stamp, made the Christian Louboutin bleed from wear. I don’t want to return them and I will drop the dispute…

dani102373 …It might have helped if you had put the year and difference in markings in the description for people like me who are new to Louboutins. Although, maybe that’s not your responsibility. I really am sorry. I’m not a mean person…just very easily manipulated.

tarakim @dani102373 I totally understand your concern I really do. I PROMISE you those are real. I know there are a lot of people selling fake junk on here, but I’m not one of them. If it makes you feel better, I want you to find a local CL store and take them in. They will know! I hope you love them bc the other pair I sold the girl resold them bc she got them so cheap and it made me so upset!

tarakim @dani102373 You got a great deal on a REAL pair! When you buy shoes yourself you don’t save the receipts or the box etc. bc cause you buy them to wear them. I get you don’t know me & I don’t know you. But I know the truth so it just really made me frustrated & upset. Ive been looking through old emails saks Neimans & CL. I can’t find the one for those, I bought them in black & white!

dani102373 @tarakim I totally agree that you don’t save boxes or receipts. I never even saved dust bags for my designer handbags because I have no need to sell them. I’m just super sorry that I upset you. I don’t need to take them in anywhere because I 100% believe you.
