mgnbeatty Tawn, I am very excited to see the most perfect down will have its perfect day since I couldn’t give it that day. Like I said in my listing this came straight from David’s bridal and has been hanging ever since, absolutely no one has worn or altered the gown and all the paperwork is still attached. I will get her packed up and shipped out within the next 48hours. If If you’re interested in sharing a picture of the gown being worn on an amazing very special day, I would love to see it.

mgnbeatty Okay the “what’s up” is very ironic as this dress I had listed in several spots for almost a year and within 48 hours two women with similar stories Previously trying this on in 2015 2016 and falling in love with it, but unable to find it in their size anywhere since. One lady was trying to put together a package to bid on the dress and was asking questions and the next lady had no questions and just bought it.

mgnbeatty She of course is heartbroken and wanted me to see about canceling etc. I told her “no that was unethical” and that “it is very unfortunate timing but this is how it works, fastest to the purchase button wins”. I feel terrible as she had told her bridesmaid and the groom that she “found the dress” and was celebrating a bit prematurely. This happened so close in time that I was actually responding to her questions and Bam! Dress sold, I actually thought it was her that bought it.

mgnbeatty Either way I think you and I can understand her grief about this dress and I told her I would at least pass on a message to you about your your plans after the wedding and if you planned on selling it and if your wedding is before hers that maybe you would be interested in selling or whatever you two would work out etc. Obviously you have no obligation to even reach out to her but I told her I would pass on her info if you wanted it.

mgnbeatty I have pictures I took as I was packing it up, and probably overkill but I did my best at making the inside of the box waterproof. The dress is in the original David’s bridal bag but it got ripped (the dress bag not the dress) on the bottom when I picked the dress up so I taped up the rip in the bag and decided to keep the dress in it. I also took it out of the bag and took pics , I would send them to you but I’m not sure how in poshmark.
