mollys3 @taysprak wow! Amazing! It takes a very special person to work in both those area! Thank you for what u do! My passion is pediatric trauma. Worked NICU put it’s just a bit slow for me and the attachments you have with both patient and family is just too hard for me! So... I’m a trauma gal. 🤪

taysprak @mollys3 I couldn’t handle peds or trauma. Definitely not at the same time! Last year my family got attached to some NICU and PICU nurses when my nephew had surgery, so I know what you mean ❤️

taysprak @mollys3 I’m sorry you’re dealing with that 😕 I have a state job keeping severely mentally ill people in the community and out of the hospital, it’s called Assertive Community Treatment. Most of my patients are the realest and coolest people I know. I’ve dealt with the personality disorders too though, and that’s not nearly as fun!

mollys3 @taysprak wow! Amazing! What an incredible job! Can u recommend any books that we could read that dealings with narcissistic behavior as well as Sociopath and psychopath behavior and how to best deal with them?? Thanks!

taysprak @mollys3 The Psychopath Test is probably as close as it comes, it may at least give you insight into their mind. You could research antisocial personality disorder, but really the person needs some intense therapy and motivation to change ☹️ Meanwhile I would only recommend you and and your husband should set firm boundaries with this person. I know that’s not very helpful, it’s a difficult situation for anyone.
