teddipease @lehmanent is it odd when someone sends a check for am exceeding amount to “hold the item” then wants you to forward back 85% of the check?

lehmanent @teddipease you should never accept anything but payment on the app. whe. you get someone saying cash this and send me back the rest, usually it is a stolen check and they are getting you involved to cash it and then they get money and say "see ya!" then when the checks bounces or won't clear at the other end, you are left responsible for the entire amount.

lehmanent we use Poshmark to accept payments to protect us. Never take pmt off site.
