sunnybluz Hello folks! It looks like you are pretty new to Posh. I started selling in May, just a little bit before you. The secret to selling your items is to share your closet. We are responsible to push our own stuff out there in the internet so folks see what we have in our closet. I too like Disney and Coogi... and your prices are good. Folks just don’t know you are here.

theyliquidate @sunnybluz Thanks, Sharon! Our son started this platform to sell clothing. He's been in the reselling business for nearly 4 years, taking over my Ebay account I've had for 20 years now. He also sells on Amazon. Very recently he decided he would concentrate his time renovating houses. My husband needs another transplant, so I'm wanting to give Poshmark my attention. I truly appreciate your help and I spent this morning watching YouTube videos. I'm going to give this a whirl!

theyliquidate @sunnybluz I have MANY items to list for men and women. I'm spending time researching about each item and I have a hard time finding the time around the medical appointments, tasks and caregiving. We are very blessed our son helps us daily and our daughter (+ hubby) just moved closer to help so I can raise money needed. Thanks again for your kind words of advice, Teresa

sunnybluz @theyliquidate We just got back from Lacks Cancer Center... as Hubby has daily trips for radiation treatments. Totally blew our summer. So, I totally understand what you are saying. I got connected to a couple of Poshmark share groups, and I also click on: New Members, and ‘Follow’ them. The return follow Rate is said to be about 30%, which means your followers will grow. If you look at my closet...

sunnybluz You will see the growth from almost nothing on sharing, following and gaining followers... as I knew nothing of this before getting information from fellow Poshers and watching YouTube videos. Then... I finally started selling. 😉

sunnybluz @theyliquidate That’s awesome! It’s a good thing to have a daily goal. You may want to have in place a 20-30% cushion. That way you can drop your prices a little after a few weeks if things aren’t moving. You can also offer a 10% discount on bundling (2) or more items from your closet... it helps to draw folks in as you can place up to 5# into a box with one shipping label to save the buyer in postage. 😉

sunnybluz @theyliquidate Posh takes 20% off the top of what you sell, and they are always suggesting the sellers to offer the... (Likers’) A 10% Discount as well as a 1.80 Discount on shipping, which comes out of the seller. So, it’s my 30% added on at the time Inlist something... and offer my smaller items at: 3/15.00. Still not a lot of profit doing this... but it moves the stuff.

sunnybluz You want to put your kid’s items up on the ‘Parties’ when they are on... more exposure to your closet when folks click on them, they will most likely look at other things in your closet. 😉

theyliquidate @sunnybluz Radiation takes a lot out of a person! Have you noticed if he's slow to react? That was our experience. Right now my husband is on dialysis 3 afternoons a week and falls asleep during dinner. He then sleeps the entire next day until I wake him for dinner. :(

sunnybluz @theyliquidate She will love it. I bought her a sweater (Hello Kitty) a couple weeks ago and she doesn’t want to take it off... it’s sequined and very sparkly. I am using my Posh money for Christmas gifts this year. We have 5 adult kids... & their spouses, and 21 grand kiddies. 😉

sunnybluz @theyliquidate You can make up bundles and put several together in one photo... that’s one way. What I do is list my kids items a bit higher than 5.00 each, maybe some at 6.00 and some at 7... or 8. Then I let the buyer pick from the ones I have marked: 3/15.00. They must message me and place all three in a bundle in my closet, and then they make me an offer on (The Bundle)... the three listings of their choosing.

sunnybluz Ah... eBay! I just tossed some things on my account tonight. I have also sold on that platform since before 1999. I dislike the return policy. Ebay no longer has the backs of the sellers as they did in the beginning. A dishonest buyer is worth more to them than the honest seller. They prove it when they don’t uphold their policies. My opinion.
