jgreen0722 Most people mark something in you closet as likes. Most just mark an item to come back to when they get the money. But just because they like an item doesn’t mean they are ready to buy. So let the likers pile up. Then make an offer! My personal experience is you can chase every liker or wait until you have 8 to 10 likers then make and offer! 👋

Is it customary for a potential buyer to reach out to you through email asking to buy the item, or then sending a check to you for more than you asked because they are getting other items and the amount over the amount you asked for is to go to the shipper??

jgreen0722 Hi Teresa, The e-mailer is a Scammer trying to get free items by telling you she will pay by check! It’s best to stay on Poshmark where your items and sales money are protected. I am glad you ask me as l hate for new poshers to get ripped off. 👋

tlsnod @jgreen0722 I was afraid of that. I didn’t think the person would email me directly. I did get a check but it just all seems a little strange. I thought everything was done on Poashmark and I asked her how Poshmark would get their portion and she said I could still pay Poshmark, it just seemed weird, but I have the check.
