Hi! I'm Joy. I am so excited to have discovered Poshmark! I don't have anything to sell yet, but will start soon as I have lost a great deal of weight from being sick with Lyme Disease for 10 years (and bedridden for 9 of those years). I have so many beautiful clothing pieces that have never been worn as I purchased them but never felt well enough to leave the house except for doctors' appointments. I really appreciate all of the sellers generosity in working with me on my very limited budget!

joychrisman Thanks for the welcome! It probably looks like I am going a little overboard shopping, but I have been bed-bound with severe Lyme Disease for almost 10 years and have finally found a doctor who has helped me feel better so I am treating myself by purchasing my birthday, anniversary, and Christmas gifts. My clothing and shoe needs have changed since before I became sick - I have to wear extremely comfortable shoes/clothes (elastic waistbands, soft materials, plus I have lost a lot of weight!).

joychrisman I am so happy to possibly have some quality of life again and just discovered Posh. I am an extrovert and being home in bed by myself for 10 years has been torture! I could barely walk or use my arms and hands. I can't afford to shop at full retail price since I have spent everything we have on medical bills, so I really appreciate everyone working with me on accepting offers!

After spending every bit of savings, our retirement, etc. on my medical bills for the last decade, I simply could not afford to purchase new retail. joychrisman To all sellers, I apologize that I am running a day or two behind in accepting packages. I had a very sick rescued Guinea pig who had surgery last December and the vet thought he would pass within 1 week. I was able to bring him back to health and he lived a normal happy life until 4 days ago when the mineralization disease finally won and shut down his system. I have been holding him 24x7 even taking him to bed with me where he slept next to my heart. He passed at 4 am this morning in no pain.

joychrisman @jean1710 You made me smile on a very rough day - burying one pet (my sweet rescued guinea pig) while messaging you (that is what the hold-up was - I had to open my packages after my dad and I finished the burial to make certain I received items before accepting them) and then having my rescued draft horse injuring his coffin joint which can be deadly so I was with the vet half of the day. All of your effort was greatly appreciated and brightened my otherwise gloomy day!

I actually asked mine if she could treat me when I could not find a doctor knowledgeable about it and she thought I was being funny but I was very serious! She had treated so many animals with Lyme successfully. I hope your Airedale had a great quality of life and none of the nagging pain and neuro symptoms.

Poshmark has been amazing with meeting so many helpful poshers who love fashion as much as i do. AlwAys here to help. In regards to pain issues have you tried a holistic approach or acupuncture?
