teriatposhmark @liledeglace He is older, 7 years old so he acts kinda very much like a Mr. Magoo, he moves very slowly and let’s the other younger girl dog have all his food and treats. When we go for walks, he just focuses on the walk and doesn’t get too distracted by other dogs. I guess that it’s typical for labs that they become very mellow after about 3-4 yrs. of age. The girl lab mix is only 2 yrs. old and loves all dogs toys and still like to chew on everything including wood furniture, 😑

teriatposhmark @bdobolina I do like the White House Black Market items that you have listed. It used to be one of my favorite stores, then it became Banana Republic and Althleta. I go through phases. We do travel to Florida to go the Disney World and have been there twice. It is so much nicer compared to Disneyland which feels cramped compared to Disneyworld and the Magic Kingdom.

I try to keep my purchases to what I sell but it can be a real struggle to have the control and show some restraint. It’s always nice to meet nice folks on Poshmark though, that’s a bonus.

They both came from the HumaneSociety. We have always had dogs and one of the dogs we had before was a tri-color Australian Shepherd and she was one of my favorites, they’re just so smart.

bdobolina 1 of mine is a true rescue. The came with no fur and heartworms positive. The beagle had a free by road sign their were 12 puppies and 4 full Size dogs and a family of 5. Lemme winks I paid 100 for cause she is also a treewalker coon hound. My maggie who I rescued was 8 when covid hit their were puppies and everyone backed out. That’s a good reason their to stay off fb. It’s like a back up dog.

teriatposhmark @bdobolina Love the adorable doggie pictures. They look like sweethearts. I recommend a warm Eason salt hot bath for soreness. They found that soaking in a hot bath has the same benefit of removing toxins from the body the same was as strenuous exercise. That sounds like a better way to get the same benefits. I like the Dr. Teals brand.

bdobolina @teriatposhmark I’ve been very lazy on exercise with the dogs. But if one of them does swim laps in the pool. And we have so many bugs in Florida. You’ll get a Attack just turning on your grill that’s why they put all the pools in Florida under cages. I really appreciate the advice. Floppy eared dogs always have ear infections. Not mites rods,cones, and yeast. I have a small arsenal of stuff from the vet

teriatposhmark @bdobolina I have some salts from AHAVA too, they also make lotion & skincare. I like them too but think it’s a little overpriced compared to Dr. Teals which you can get in a variety of different scents. My favorite is Eucalyptus which smells kinda medicinal.

teriatposhmark @bdobolina I rarely use essential oils, I like the convenience of the plug in and use the Bath & a body Wallflowers since they have such a large variety & it’s strong enough to scent a large room.

teriatposhmark @bdobolina I have also heard the essential oil defuser for certain scents can have an impact on human hormones so I haven’t really used them. I don’t think that the small size of the bath & body wallflower plug in has the same potential harmful affects. They are like the glade plug ins.

teriatposhmark Any box will do, they do have them for free at the post office for the priority express mail but any box that you can fit all the items into works too. I try to reuse boxes when I can so to cut down my use of new boxes.

I once sent a customer a replacement item that I paid for the shipping entirely out of my own pocket so that they are satisfied with their purchase since I don’t want them to regret buying from my closet. I was only asking to get the headband since it’s something that you can ship in a small envelope &wouldn’t cost you much to replace the book I bought but didn’t get. Any color is fine.

bdobolina @teriatposhmark do not sell items under 20. We have a new scammer. If he or she returns a item you pay for shipping both ways 7.45. Then 14.90 Poshmark’s takes 15 percent. So around 19dollars.. To get your item back. Chris asks me this morning what are you selling I’m not paying for 18 so you can get your item back. I said it’s for Terri and she would never do that to me. Seriously it’s happened to me 2 times in.

Eva came from there too & is only 2 but they are inseparable. She is the real trouble maker and still loves to chew on furniture legs in addition to her toys but Wally went through that phase too so just waiting for it to pass🙄

teriatposhmark @liledeglace Hi, I am still in San Diego and yes, I am well & am happy living here. The cost of living is high but we stay for the weather, it’s the “sunshine tax”. My two dogs mainly like wet food and are spoiled that way. I do feed them the same kibble but have to mix it in with the wet food and they eat it all up. Good to hear from you again and hope that you’re doing well too😊

liledeglace @teriatposhmark taking it day by day! We adopted a toy&mini poodle mix named chocolate back in October and his old owner lives about 4-6 hours west of me. Unlike the Labrador mix you were asking about who was a girl named Becky, this one is a boy so he has his own eccentricities.

liledeglace That’s why I love to communicate with other dog owners on this app to see if the dogs are normal. He was born in august and the first year is always the toughest. The vet the old dog owner used said he was an apparently healthy puppy but when we took him to our local vet, they said they found a parasite in his stool giardia. Still trying to figure out where he got it and he threw up a few times this past week.

liledeglace Maybe we overfed him but he has a bad habit of not liking traditional dog foods and preferring human food, which I know from owning my second dog Dandelion a decade ago that that’s not necessary good for him and he would always just be happy with a serving of Caesar’s.

teriatposhmark @liledeglace Yes, it helps to be able to mix in the wet with the dry kibble otherwise dogs will always go for “people food”. It doesn’t stop them from begging though so I keep some of the dental chews for them to each get one after dinner to help clean their teeth. I think this is all fairly common for dog owners. I am just glad that I don’t have to have custom made dog food or dogs with food sensitivities since that would be way more expensive.

I was there for 2 weeks to help the two dogs reunite and I found out my brother-in-law was helping 3 other dogs get walked because his friends were coming back to the east coast and he recently invested in a motorcycle.

liledeglace It was really too hot in San Diego for me and the beaches were too crowded and sometimes the servers wouldn’t get our order right or not let us know some foods were sold out:( very chaotic visit to my sisters so I hope you are faring much better!

teriatposhmark @liledeglace Yes, we have had some heat waves recently that have also swept through other states too. Unfortunately, the weather will just continue to become more extreme each year. Similar to most places, it helps to know which places are better compared to others and that just comes with time and by trial and error. I definitely have my favorite locations based on experience gained over the years. Hopefully, you’ll have better luck next time visiting.

liledeglace @teriatposhmark I’m not sure we will ever be back because they signed a lease agreement that expires 1/31/23 because Alex is an Aquarius but they don’t love the jobs there and they have returned to the east coast surprisingly to work on their house that was under contract so who knows how much paperwork me and my interior designer friend will have to help them do in their absence:(

liledeglace they lived next to a couple who had 3 very aggressive dogs who were barking and biting through their fence. I’m so happy that my poodle chocolate is much more friendlier than Becky was! Becky has a very strong stray personality, despite her beauty and tendency to escape to various pounds:( for now I’m happy to have a break from the in-laws!

teriatposhmark @liledeglace glad that your cute new doggie is doing well. Having regular interactions w/ people & other dogs helps to keep dogs from becoming aggressive or territorial. It also helps to have exercise daily to prevent behaviors from developing. I love watching the dog whisperer Cesar Milan’s advice on dogs & behavioral issues. I am more of a west coast person so if you’re accustomed to living in a certain area, it would likely take a while to get acclimated to living elsewhere.

We went to a zens curry place that was celebrating a 3rd year anniversary but the waiters sucked because they were taking orders of appetizers they didn’t have and bringing out the wrong food.

liledeglace Also went to a mediocre bar/restaurant named common theory where the service was horrible! Don Tommy’s and another Vietnamese bang mi place was affordable but making me very sick because too much food was served:( the beach was very unclean and crowded and someone rude almost ran my mother over and just said excuse me! Rude drivers and rude Americans! Terrible flight with 2 fires and unexpected layovers! I am sorry you pay a sunshine tax!

liledeglace I used to love warm tropical places like Albuquerque, nm and wonder why people choose to live in food deserts, and one unexpected layover was in Vegas I think they were trying to get riders to gamble and blaming frontier fires so they can get more business unfortunately!

liledeglace They also gave our 10-20lbs puppy a hard time claiming he was too big to board but he was only 12lbs max and had a boarding pass! The discrimination got my pops and the dog depressed so they pressured me and my brother jimmy who rented a car to get on a flight first in American! Of course the dog came but I’m scared he might have caught something:( he’s so quiet and cute!

I think that most beaches will continue to be packed until about mid to late September when school is back. Sorry about your restaurant experiences. There’s so many places to try but I avoid going to places too new until they’ve endured the test of time. I also hate crowded places especially since Covid numbers are going up again.
