My daughter is married to a marine as well, and my sons best friend just got back from deployment to his North Carolina home in the middle of the recent storm, so he and his wife came up here after packing up their house. I pray they don’t lose it😢. He worked so hard for this country for that home.

blissfulfinds79 @terragambrel you’re exactly right. It’s not easy always being states away from my daughter & grand daughter, but it’s a higher calling.Thank god we have these brave kids. I pray they know our gratitude! Hugs to your family & son also. My grandpa was in wwII, & he taught me navy through in & out. He taught me what the flag meant, how to raise it, to never touch the ground, & we always prayed for those in harms way at every meal. I was only 5 when he started teaching me.
