It was horrible, but it gave us another 3 years with her. Miss her terribly. You never get over it do you?? Love meeting fellow schnauzer mommas

I am always looking online to rescue schnauzers. I live in an area that doesn’t have much need for rescue groups. I see a lot in Texas or on the east coast. Luckily I will be getting a new puppy when she’s ready to leave her mommy in about eight weeks. My sweet Dixie ( the one I am holding) was my first schnauzer. schnauzermomma @shirleygrattan They look very nice. However my dogs very rarely wear collars. My little party schnauzer Zoey, when she was younger was out in the backyard and got caught on some cut down tree branches. Luckily my daughter and I were home and we heard her screaming, by the time we got out there she was stuck and twisting around she almost choked her self to death. Her eyes are all bloodshot. Scared the heck out of us, so now they only were collars when we take them on walks.

beachroses24 Hi! I just saw your comments about the knee replacement. I did my left knee at 37. I just did a complete revision at 57. It was falling apart… The revision is not a picnic, but I will be fine. I did my right knee for the first time in August. I was walking normally and doing everything (biking, walking, swimming) in 3 weeks. I couldn’t believe how easy it was. 20 years ago this surgery was no walk in the park. Today it is amazing how simple it is.
