@mikasa67 I absolutely love it! I think it's what we called pink ice in the 80s. I thought in the pics it might be kunsite. In person it's too dark. Pink ice is man made . It's a pink topaz color. The filigree is gorgeous! I'm so happy you reduced it. Thanks again!

@ratkshaffer The majority of counterfeit Birkenstocks will still have the logo and trademark information on them, so you have to look for other signs. First, the text on the footbeds has the wrong font, size and placement. The text should also be embossed rather than just printed. The 4 digit alphanumeric identification code has the wrong font and size. The uppers are cut incorrectly. The straps are thicker than they should be and the toe straps go further back on the footbed than they should.

The buckles are the wrong color and are lacking patina. The logos on the buckles are stamped on a bend in the buckle, but they should be on a flat surface. The logos on the buckles are wrong. On a Mayari size 39, the buckles at the toes should say BIRK and the buckles at the ankles should say BIRKEN. The footbeds are formed incorrectly. For example, the toe bars are quite pointy, but they should be smooth at the top. The footbeds are also lined with the wrong materials.

The cork has the wrong color and texture. The hourglass designs on the soles are the wrong shape and size and the BIRK logos have the wrong font. There are plenty more examples, but I’m sure you get the idea. I gave all of this info to the seller before she sold them to you. She tried to say she got them from the Birkenstock site and that she would upload a pic of the receipt, but she just stopped responding (prob since no receipt exists).

I have been buying, selling and wearing Birkenstocks for 25+ years, so I’m familiar with what to look for and these are without a doubt fake. However, if you wanted to get a second opinion, you could take them to a Birkenstock Store (an actual Birk store, not just one that sells Birks). If you don’t have one near you, there’s a place online, called Sandy’s Birkenstock, that will verify authenticity via photos only. The best way to reach her is through social media.

Hi! I tried to warn you about coach bag you purchased & the seller blocked me. Please cancel with Poshmark, the selller does not have this bag to ship. I sent multiple complaints saying I never received anything and that I had video proof from home surveillance cameras, they automatically pushed my payment through even though I never accepted it and now poshmark is no longer responding to my emails. I reported it to BBB today

@mosterbrock09 Success! I just got email that my refund was processed. Action will be taken against seller. I don't know how they can do that since he took the age down. I have learned a big lesson! I will research before buying. I have been at Poshmark since 2018. 99% of transactions have been great! So sad that seedy people take from others!

I just couldn't let him. We can go later! We both had a rough week with a spring cold; He kept working until Friday he just dropped! It finally cought up to him. By Sunday much better!
