To self share pick on of your items and find the two arrows chasing each other and click the arrows, pop up,click share again and you have shared your item with your followers. jgreen0722 Name to go to your private closet and click ‘Find People’ you can click on them to follow. Also in your private closet you will click find people and then you can click on ‘New People’ you can follow them also. The higher your numbers go up with followers the more you can share your closet with and this leads to sales. So when you self share not only do you show followers your closet. So l try to find people that may be trying to learn there way around Poshmark and l try to help. It took my a few weeks to work it all out. maurerterri3 @jgreen0722 Thank you Jennifer. Actually it’s very nice to hear all this information. I just have a couple questions. Do people from the outside get to see what I’m selling? Also I had a person on here contacted me to buy my ring separately from Poshmark and I told them no that I would go through Poshmark only. Is that something that people normally do? Am I allowed to post my items on any other site? Or is it strictly for Poshmark only?

jgreen0722 Hi Terri, l saw you questions and l will give you some answers. First, Do people from the outside see your items ? On the day you list your items they are also on the front feed for that day. So when people sign on they can check the feed for new items. Also let’s say you have a coach bag by self sharing you keep that coach bag listed under Coach bags. So if someone wants to buy Coach bags they put in the shopping directory and they get to see all the Coach bags that are listed.

jgreen0722 Second, Yes people try to buy off Poshmark,most are scammers because they can give you phony pay pul acceptance numbers and you loose the item. If you sell to a stranger off Poshmark you have no insurance that you will get your money. Personally l would never do it, my husband got ripped off, it’s just not worth the risk to us.lastly, of course you can list things on other websites. If you the same items for sale make sure your money is in then take your listing off or put up sold on the item.

jgreen0722 To shop at Poshmark you must be signed in will all your purchasing info posted with Poshmark. That means the address, CC info. Then you can choose to put a photo or a blank silhouette on the posher listing. Now this is were the following and sharing along with self share come in. Try to take some time every day to get your followers numbers up because when you self share you are posting your items to your followers. You also can pick the closets you want to share with

jgreen0722 I find l like to share closets that share back. So when you pick a closet look at their stats, look to see how many shares they have and look at how many followers they have, then look at the first couple of lines to see if they are worth your time to share. Their items will show when they last updated or self shared. So if you see by the date on the item is six months ago and their stats are low maybe just share the top line items and go on. jgreen0722 The layout is nice and neet and the clothing is presented well along with other items l may share a very large portion of that closet. When that posher signs in they will see l have shared maybe forty or fifty items the odds are good they will share that many items in your closet. I think the Poshmark set up is very ingenious,because they developed a way for each seller to share their closet to show and sell at their pace. I share and follow daily,l have big vet bills from my street cat rescue!

There are six hundred fifty thousand closets with that many shoppers and more on week ends. Then there are the closets closing or on vacation. The numbers are always changing. I love to see people succeed on Poshmark. Look at what the successful closets are doing and set up time to work on the sharing and following. What you put in helps with your success.🙏

jgreen0722 Hi, l have only seen Face Book and Twitter to share with. I thought at one time we could share on other platform but mine just list the two. When you click your name and go to private closet you can Email Poshmark and ask if there are any new platforms to share with, they may have added something new. Don’t worry about questions,Poshmark is a whole different set- up than other places were you put an item for sale and wait. Or pay a fee for auction. I will do some checking
