xojackie43 Hi there! Just saw you received the dress & rated it. I’m 100% honest when I say I am very doubtful that the dress smelled like cigarettes considering I have never smoked in my life, nor does my boyfriend who I went out with the one time I wore the dress. It’s been in my closet for over a year and there’s no way it could smell like cigarettes. Enjoy!

thanhthuyhuynh @xojackie43 hey! Thanks for the message. I made my boyfriend smell it too and we both thought it reeked of cigarettes. Was it washed pre-hand? I know that when I wear things out, the smell of cigarettes (I don’t smoke either) sticks to my hair, clothes etc.

xojackie43 @thanhthuyhuynh I actually didn’t wash it after wearing it out but it was literally worn for two hours max and I genuinely don’t recall walking by anyone smoking. We went to a really nice restaurant for valentines and that’s the only place it ever made its way to. I mentioned your comment to my boyfriend and he was confused since he knows we don’t smoke. He mentioned maybe it caught a weird smell on its way being shipped to you? Not sure but apologies for the smell, wherever it came from!
