Where do you donate your stuff to because I was hoping to move by June-July if my tenants successfully clear out after 3 years of latenesses on their end but I do try to clear my stuff off to local unisex shelters in place rather than throw things out and in the past 5 years,

liledeglace they’ve stopped accepting bras (because the metals don’t pass tsa) as well as jewelry or bags with metals in it:( around late summer there were requests for backpacks for disadvantaged kids so I started collecting those from may-august but when September-October rolled around, the sign went away and was replaced with a new sign asking people to stop donating anything with metals as they installed a new turnstile:(

liledeglace my parents are Buddhists so if I donate anything to local churches, it’d have to be a secret but my local monks who live meditation will occasionally ask for dishwashing soap and handwash and hand creams which my mother unfortunately takes and would prefer to donate money to the monks as my toiletry picks by lush, body shop, or Anthropologie tends to get expensive

Apple autocorrect can be pretty useless sometimes but I love that most the bins I donate to are unmonitored but some days I do wonder if the to donate pile actually goes to the people of the highest need so I’m actually happy to meet likeminded individuals who believe in charitable works so it’s quite refreshing what you do so gracias❣️
