localgrown @jaydeejen Aloha! Sorry it’s been a long time to respond. Been thinking about selling but I have a few questions maybe you can help me. I have a few items that are big. IE: large purse. It would take more than $7.11 to send this out, would I need to add more postage, and how would I keep the tracking if I would need to, it’s going to take more than 7 days to go out, etc. but things I receive get here with $7.11 postage.

jaydeejen @localgrown hi, I just saw your post. ok, selling is so easy.. postmark pretty much does everything for us. if a person buys an item from you.. they either pay the shipping themselves, or you can offer to pay 4.99 of the shipping in an offer or if you really want to be generous and try and get rid of items you have been trying to sell for awhile, you can pick option to pay all of the shipping. it automatically comes off of purchase price whichever option you pick.

jaydeejen you always want to price things about 10% or more higher than you want so you can offer a lower price. I often look at what other Poshers are selling their items for to give me an idea of where to price my item depending on how my item looks.. hope this helps you get started. let me know if you need more help.. good luck.

localgrown @jaydeejen thank you for responding! Took an item (large leather tote) to sell to the post office-told me that the $7.11 postage was not enough to get it shipped. (To the farthest state). I had to ship in their large box that’s $28.00(?). It might take 30 days regular way w/o express mail. It’ll be shoved in or use a package that might get damaged (zippers),etc. emailed Customer service & had a response that if I don’t use their postage, THEY can’t track it and I take full liability.

jaydeejen @localgrown oh dear, you needed to contact postmark and ask for a higher shipping rate ticket.. everything we ship.. postmark promises us they will track for us.. its how we get paid!!.. contact postmark and let them know what happened.
