Hi! I'm Theresa. I have my own business called, The Jewelry and Sock Lady. Back in 2006 I bought 19,000 pairs of socks. I went to every flea market and consignment sale to sell them all. jewelrylady782 @ms_robin_mm, Good morning! No I don't sell clothing/accessories full time. I go to a major consignment sale twice a year here in Georgia. That's were I sell my socks. I used to have a ton of new kids clothing I got for a steal but have sold almost all if those.

jewelrylady782 @ms_robin_mm, I only bought the 19000 pairs of socks because I found a fantastic deal where the lot was rejected by the retailer because the size labels where incorrect and the manufacturer just put a new sticker over the size, but JC Penney rejected them. So I had to buy all 19000 to get a good deal.

jewelrylady782 @ms_robin_mm, I also do my own sales out of my garage, 3 times a year. I don't know what kind of advice I could give you, I am still trying to figure out how to get customers myself. I feel if you provide a good product and customer service the you should do well.

jewelrylady782 @ms_robin_mm, I have an usual problem when I do my sales out of the garage. Majority of my clients will not tell their friends about my sales. I have mostly one of a kind jewerly pieces & they don't want their friends to get to the sale first. So they just don't tell them about it. They will literally tell me, "my jewelry source is my best kept secret." So I have to do a lot of paid advertising to get new customers. Thank you for checking out my closet. Have a great weekend!

I am a novice crocheter (traditionally called hookers because the prominent use of a hook but I'm hesitant to use the term myself in order to avoid any confusion about what, exactly, my beloved hobby is 😋). I subsequently have a decent online social circle of fellow makers who might appreciate your craft.

I crocheted an afghan for my bed when I was 16 and I have slept under it for the past 35 years. Do you sell your crochet items on Poshmark or Facebook? I would love to share your page.

jewelrylady782 @ms_robin_mm, you had mentioned my craft. You my dear are a true craftsman with your crochet. Not everyone can do it and I think it's a dying art. It's not being passed down to the next generation. I taught my sister in law how to crochet 15 years ago and she hasn't put down her needle since. I just sell closeout costume jewelry. I just try to make a pretty display table to show everything. Lol😆 I like to say I was doing this before Papparazzi existed.😉

ms_robin_mm @jewelrylady782 No, I don't have any crocheted items ready for sale presently. I'm swamped with getting the excess clothing I'm trying to clear out on Poshmark (I inherited my mom's literal closet in March and have 3 closets worth of clothing myself already). Any extra time I have after that, I am working on a lapghan a friend commissioned a couple months ago.

silverpickins Hi Theresa, Please let me know if you received the “Ann Taylor” Loft Blouse. It was shipped on June, 11th and shows arrival in GA. On the 13th. It currently shows in Transit as of the 17th with today being the 29th. I haven’t had any issues with any other items. Just wondering if tracking hadn’t updated. I hope you have received. I figured mail was just slower in some areas. I would appreciate hearing from you. Hope your enjoying your vacation🏖

jewelrylady782 @silverpickins Hi! I still haven't received the item. I went to the post office last week to inquire about this blouse and the best guess the post office worker had was this: We have had riots in Atlanta, a cop shot a man then rioters burned down a Wendy's. Postal worker told me that they were not delivering mail near the distribution center in Atlanta. She also said it's probably sitting on a tractor trailer truck at the distribution center. I am not sure what to do at this point.

I was just more concerned u not having your item. Let’s see if anything changes with tracking this week. Hopefully they get help with getting the mail delivered. I may be able to open a lost item case if it doesn’t show up soon. Sorry for the delay.

jewelrylady782 @silverpickins it's ridiculous down here with mail delivery since the virus hit. We shortened our hours at work, closing at 3pm instead of 6. The post office will only deliver our mail once a week now. We are a vets office and sometimes meds get delivered by usps. Tracking will show delivered, meanwhile its sitting somewhere else for like a week until the mail lady shows up with it, whenever she feels like it. 🤦‍♀️

silverpickins @jewelrylady782 Hi Theresa, I checked with My Post Office Today regarding the Package. They told me that Unfortunately since Covid, the bigger cities are very slow with delivery. It did show up in GA. On the 13th. They said it will eventually be delivered. I apologize you have to wait so long but I guess it’s pretty much out of our hands right now. I will keep checking and hopefully in the next week we will see an update. Thank you for being Patient 💕💕💕

jewelrylady782 @silverpickins the packaged has moved! it says it's in Conyers Ga out for delivery. Yahoo! I won't be home till Sunday but the hubbie will open it tonight if they deliver it today. Maybe there is hope for my package I sent to Illinois, that has been bouncing back and forth between Atlanta and Illinois for weeks. Fingers crossed😊
