sunrize180 So sorry for the inconvenience. The watch belongs to a friend of mine and we both thought it just needed a battery. I also tried to reach you but couldn't figure out how to initiate contact. Of course I will agree to a return and refund. Did the jeweler say how much the repair would cost?

thierrylea Thank you for getting back with me. The jeweler didn't say what it would cost, but from her reaction it was a "it's not worth trying to fix" vibe due to the trouble and cost. If I pay the cost to return the watch head may I keep the band? I'm honestly just looking for an expensive water resistance watch on the exact band that came with the order for both water and first responder missions. How does that work for you?
