lvraiders2020 Descendents just played 6 months ago and the crowd was from 18-80!! it was amazing to see all the generations of fans. they started in long beach in about '78. the old guys put on an amazing show. I saw them last, prior to that at Fenders ballroom in long beach(torn down) their farewell tour in '86. I miss the old cali punk scene

jimandmargy @lvraiders2020 that’s so cool. A lot of the local punk bands have disappeared but those were good times. Spent most of my time in southern Cal in the late 70s through the 80s. Did you ever have a chance to go to fiesta island in San Diego to play in the OTL tournaments. Good times!!

jimandmargy I played the acoustic and electric bass back then. I was into jazz and rockabilly. Always wanted to try to mesh some puck and rockabilly together. Wasn’t easy putting a band together.
