tierra_klobucar @jennzdresser yes I’m doing fine. But I went well my tennishoes last week got comment to email the person and I did without even thinking of the dangers, anyways she mailed me a check with way more money on it than I expected and wanted me to send the remaining amounts to some person that was going to pick up the shoes for her. Anyways it failed the few times I tried to send it and decided to tell her I didn’t feel comfortable with the method of sending

tierra_klobucar @jennzdresser and that I’d rather send a check and the shoes together. Anyways I didn’t touch any of the money from the check that was in my bank just Incase it was something sketchy and could get me in trouble. And the bank has removed the amount of the check out of my account so I’m calling Monday just to check if they did that and everything.

tierra_klobucar @jennzdresser Also, I told my cousin of the Situation and he had the same thing happen about he was to send this amount of money to the people coming to get it and he took the check to the bank and turns out was a fake check and the bank kept the check and everything. I will keep you posted come Monday.

cracklin_rosie @tierra_klobucar The only way Poshmark can protect you is by doing everything through the app. Don’t EVER go off platform for any Poshmark sale. Now I think many people sell through multiple sites, but it just stays completely separate. What I mean by that is you don’t talk to people about other places you are selling while you are on Posh. Keep everything about Posh.

cracklin_rosie @tierra_klobucar These people that want you to email them off line are always scammers. I am glad you didn’t spend any of the money or do any of the tasks they wanted you to do. Go into your bank & tell them all of this and they should help you get it cleaned up.

cracklin_rosie @tierra_klobucar I am sorry this happened to you. It WILL happen again & I just ignore those requests or send a quick message thru the Posh app telling them that if they would like to purchase my items, that I only do business thru the app. Most of the time I just ignore these requests. They know what they are doing & why they aren’t getting a response.
